A year ago, the WWE Universe was shocked to learn that the company was teasing a lesbian love angle between Lana and Liv Morgan. An interesting angle was created where these two played the role of lovers, raising the eyebrows but then WWE dropped it out of nowhere. Now that didn’t make sense as the creative had zero follow-ups in mind.
Now that angle is back in the conversation, as Lana stated in a recent interview, that WWE could very well be planning to re-visit that angle soon. This is what she had to say,
“I can see the story picking up any time, any day. You know? Like I think it’s a very, very compelling story and I would love to revisit it. So, that’s what I was told. That we’re going to revisit it at some point. So I’m looking forward to revisiting it at some point.”
Lana-Liv Morgan: Does WWE Plan To Revisit The Lesbian Story?
But probably, that may not be the case. Ringside News has been told that there is no consideration at this time to bring back that Lana and Liv Morgan story, back. Practically there’s no point to bring it back at this time. These two are heading in two completely different directions and hence there’s no point either in doing it.

Vince McMahon has his own team whom he discusses his ideas with and none of them are urging to revisit Lana and Liv Morgan’s romantic storyline. Bruce Prichard is said to be the main reason why Liv Morgan slipped down on the roster and priority list which may haven’t been the case if Paul Heyman would be in charge of things, backstage.
It was also noted that brand separations are also some obvious issues, in this situation as mentioned by the source,
“Lana is on RAW. Liv is on Smackdown. I’d like to see how that is pulled off.”
So it appears that Lana said something in an interview just to get people talking. Especially considering how controversial storyline this used to be, people are likely to get interested for some obvious reasons. But that won’t be the case, for sure.
Lana has been involved in a storyline with Asuka as her tag team partner as the duo was in pursuit of WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships possessed by Nia Jax and Shayna Basler at WWE TLC. But that match changed as The Ravishing Russian is out with an injury. Liv Morgan is not booked for TLC, but her reunion with Ruby Riott should soon lead to a title opportunity.
