WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins – Nikki and Brie Bella are familiar to mainstream sports and entertainment audiences. They have identities beyond the professional wrestling circuit and WWE often used their popularity to endorse their brand via these two superstars.

The latest of those instances occurred when The Bella Twins served as Grand Marshalls for NASCAR’s Toyota Save Mart 350, last night. The race has become an annual tradition in Sonoma, California. Originally billed from Phoenix, Arizona, this has now become the home state for the Bellas. This race will be the last in the broadcast series for the FOX television schedule, as the coverage will be shifted to NBC starting on Sunday, June 26th.

The Bella Twins were dressed in black attires to start the race in a traditional way as they uttered, “Gentlemen… Start your engines!”

The two former WWE Divas Champions then stayed throughout all the festivities around the race. They also met the drivers and other celebrities on hand before going for a ride with one of the sport’s greatest drivers, Kyle Busch.

“I didn’t know we were going to go that fast,” Brie Bella stated. “I got very quiet. I was freaking out.”

“She got very quiet and I was like, whoo, yeah!” Nikki, the other half of The Bella Twins exclaimed. “From being a judge on ‘AGT (America’s Got Talent) Extreme’, I got to race in a Porsche, so I’ve kind of gotten my feel. I know how it is on some of these tracks.”

The Bella Twins still associated with the WWE after retirement

Before The Bella Twins, WWE Smackdown Superstar Lacey Evans was present during NASCAR’s Memorial Day weekend where the only 2022 Money in the Bank entrant so far started the race as a Grand Marshall of the race that took place at Charlotte Motor Speedway in its Coca-Cola 600 race.

As for The Bella Twins, they were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020, after enjoying illustrious careers in the women’s division. They have announced retirement from in-ring competition but WWE keeps them involved in various activities as they serve to be the brand ambassadors for the company.

Earlier this year, The Bella Twins returned to the WWE to compete in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Since then, they have been vocal about coming back to the WWE for one final run, possibly to go after the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
