It’s hard to get enough of The Bella Twins in or outside the WWE ring. Given their immense popularity, WWE arranged two separate reality TV series, namely Total Divas and Total Bellas, back in the day. With both these shows getting shelved, new content around the two pioneers is reportedly in the works.

Freddie Prinze Jr. is one of the biggest celebrities who was directly involved in the professional wrestling circuit. He is also a fan of the WWE who also worked as a writer for the company, where he was paid through the company stock. Freddie recently revealed that he worked on a new project for A&E about WWE Hall of Famers The Bella Twins.

Several documentaries have been produced in the recent past while the ‘WWE Evil’ series has been a major hit. Now, Freddie Prinze Jr. talked about the latest production on the illustrious careers of The Bella Twins while speaking on his Freddie podcast.

The Bella Twins to feature in a brand new documentary by WWE

The former WWE writer also noted that is hoping to see a few WWE personalities appear in this docuseries who were part of The Bella Twins’ journey in the WWE,

“I just did this documentary for A&E about the Bellas and their debut and their contribution to the business and I don’t know who all they had on there but hopefully they got Finlay because he was sort of the champion for all of the women’s wrestlers back then when they were called up. I mean, this was the guy who was trying to let them do the same techniques and moves the men do, every single production meeting.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)

Freebird [Michael Hayes] and john Laurinaitis were name-dropped by Freddie who should feature in the documentary for The Bella Twins. But the ultimate decision will be taken by the WWE’s digital department.

The Bella Twins are also being rumored for a future in-ring return to the WWE and if that happens in the near future then we may be treated with some fresh new content when this documentary airs. More details about the same should be let known by the WWE in due course.
