“I was like, ‘Mach, you look incredible.’ It might not have been the best for him wrestling-wise because he was carrying a lot of extra weight and none of us were spring chickens anymore at the time, but he looked incredible. Mach was always Mach, and did his personality change along with it? No.”

“For me, I love my life. I love what I’m doing. I love the Lord. I love you, Marcus [Buff Bagwell]. I love the fans and have a renewed love for wrestling. When I was in the midst of it, I was trying to make it through the travel and the training, but now, I’m a wrestling fan again. Wrestling fans are special, and they were with me through my good times and worst times. I would like to thank all the fans for that.”
