WWE has a long issue with over-using of their veteran (40-plus WWE wrestlers) talents which in turn prohibits the flow of up and coming talents. The creative team of the company has been called out by the fans and critics for the major sustainability issue. The main roster is mostly filled up with aged talents which should feature the emerging talents from the NXT roster, instead.

The main-event scene is filled with Bobby Lashley, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Edge and all of them are 40-plus WWE wrestlers. This is a certain indication that the promotion is in great need of pushing up young talents in NXT. The company is well aware of this problem and they are trying to come up with backup plans for it.

There’s a feeling among some fans that WWE product is in denial over the current state of the main roster, especially when it comes to the age of current talents and the lack of younger stars. The uprise of All Elite Wrestling is another reason behind the denial as they are able to utilize their young guns in the right direction. That being said, officials are “more than aware” of the problem around the 40-plus WWE wrestlers and they are making changes to offer a solution.

A report from Wrestling Observer Radio noted that WWE officials are very much aware of these 40-plus WWE old Superstars on the main roster. This is said to be the reason why the recent WWE NXT 2.0 brand was commenced as the company realizes they have to get wrestlers ready for the main roster who are in their 20s. Hopefully, this move turns out to be really fruitful for the company who is lacking bigger names, these days.
