WWE had quite a chaotic night on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, courtesy of a COVID-19 outbreak in the company. The happening came to light just a week after RAW Legends Night. If reports are to be believed then WWE’s rival brands – All Elite Wrestling and Impact Wrestling promotions are dealing with an outbreak, too.
Before this week’s WWE RAW, we were let known that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19 and has been placed in quarantine. This was certainly a big blow for Raw as they lost the top babyface player from their side for at least two to three weeks. Additionally, McIntyre is not the only one affected by the deadly virus from the main roster.

A lot of talents from the RAW roster were missing from this week’s show. It doesn’t necessarily mean that all of them were tested positive with COVID-19 but it basically means that those talents must have been exposed to the virus and they may have been told to spend 14 days under quarantine after McIntyre tested positive.

Check out the list of WWE wrestlers who missed the second episode of Raw in 2021 and who might have been affected by the latest COVID-19 outbreak around the professional wrestling circuit.
List Of WWE Wrestlers Affected By COVID-19, This Week
– WWE Champion Drew McIntyre (was in attendance on the show via pre-taped promos)
– RAW Women’s Champion Asuka
– RAW Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander
– Ricochet
– Peyton Royce
– Nikki Cross (Inactive in a WWE storyline, but she appeared last week on TV during the Legends Night)
Alongside those in-ring talents, WWE Interviewer and RAW Talk host, Charly Caruso, was also not a part of RAW who was also not seen doing RAW Talk after the main show was over. Perhaps she has been a victim of COVID-19, as well although it’s not confirmed. WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth was a part of RAW Talk while the likes Angel Garza, Akira Tozawa, or Humberto Carrillo were part of the Main Event show tapings, prior to RAW.
It seemed that WWE was short-handed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In the absence of the above-mentioned names, some of the active RAW Superstars worked twice on the bygone show at the ThunderDome. Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, Keith Lee, and Riddle pulled double duty that is competed in two matches on a night. There were also some other signs where WWE was trying to fill in some potential gaps throughout the night.
