WWE Hall of Famer Lita remains one of the pioneers of professional women’s wrestling who inspired numerous modern-day performers. Without a doubt, she fought her way to the top when there was the least opportunity available for the female roster to set the benchmark high. This, in turn, helped to form the current landscape of women’s wrestling.
Lita was thankful enough to have a short run during her return in early 2021 and she has also commented on more potential returns to WWE for some more in-ring competitions.
WWE Legend Lita Names Her Favorite Opponent; Dream Match And More
While speaking on “Insight” with Chris Van Vliet, the four-time women’s champion made it clear that she is not ruling out a return to WWE, down the line if the right opportunity waits for her. She added that her former boyfriend cum another legendary name, Edge’s return has also inspired him to a big extent.
“I think it has been cool and inspiring seeing Edge come back after all that happened with his neck, and he can still go and knows how to engage with the crowd,” Lita mentioned.
“It is tempting, but at the same time, I don’t know. I feel conflicted. I feel proud of what I did with Becky and everything is good. But at the same time, there is that part that says, ‘Well how much better would it be if I trained for it if the opportunity falls in my lap again?’ But I don’t want to force it. It might happen. Someone might call me out on TV and then I will answer.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling News)

Lita once had a torturous send-off from WWE
As noted, Lita made her return to WWE television back in January 2022 to be a participant in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. Then she entered a program with Becky Lynch over the Raw Women’s Championship to produce a dream match at the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia.
Lita also took time to look back at her first exit from WWE during this interview, where she lost the Women’s Title to Mickie James and was humiliated by Cryme Tyme, JTG, and the late Shad Gaspard. The tag team finished the post-match segment at Survivor Series 2006 by auctioning Lita’s underwear and her sex toy in an embarrassing moment.
The legendary superstar definitely didn’t deserve that kind of send-off from the WWE. She also tried to change the plans around the PPV but was unable to do so. But moving on, she’s happy to get the fittest opportunity to tear the house down at the bygone Saudi Arabia show in February against another pioneer in Becky Lynch.
