Professional wrestling legend and former four times WWE Women’s champion Lita who is currently involved in a feud with Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship recently talked about wrestling in Saudi even after criticizing WWE’s relationship with the kingdom previously.

Lita aka Amy Dumas made her return to professional wrestling before the Royal Rumble pay per view event and she participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match. She was one of the final six stars of the match before finally getting eliminated by Charlotte Flair. Her presence was pretty incredible in the Royal Rumble match.

Lita On Wrestling In Saudi Even After Criticizing WWE’s Relationship With The Kingdom Previously

On the following night on Monday Night RAW, she came out to challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at the elimination chamber pay per view event which is going to take place at Saudi Arabia. The match had been made official later on and Dumas is going to challenge Becky for the title at the said event.

WWE always bring back some of their biggest legends for the Saudi shows. For example, gold work is almost common for all Saudi the events. He is wrestling in this event as well. Previously WWE has organised some of the biggest dream matches for their Saudi shows. They were not all necessary good but they drew money.

Lita who is currently involved in a feud with Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship recently spoke to WrestleZone where she talked about wrestling in Saudi even after criticizing WWE’s relationship with the kingdom previously. She said;

“So I will say I was outspoken on the early relationship between WWE and Saudi. ‘Oh, they say they want women to wrestle over there, but like, I don’t know if I believe it. There’s no women on this card.’

“There’s women on the card [now] — and I’ve talked to the women personally that have been over there. And they’re like, ‘It’s unbelievable. There are women crying, never thinking they would get to see two women be so strong in the ring.’

“They’re like, ‘It’s really powerful. You’re gonna enjoy that.’ And so, sure, do they have a long way to go? Do we as a society have a long way to go? Absolutely, but you’ve got to take the opportunities when they’re there.”
