WWE SmackDown star and a former WWE SmackDown Women’s champion Liv Morgan who is the winner of the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match of 2022 recently looked back at her NXT days and revealed that possibly getting fired was the biggest fear she had during the time.

Liv Morgan joined the world of professional wrestling at a very young age of 20 only. She walked on the NXT for around 3 years. In her 3 year tenure of the NXT, it never seemed like WWE had anything big planned for the young professional wrestler. She was mostly treated as an afterthought during her NXT career.

Liv Morgan Remembers Her Worst Fear From The NXT

After making her main roster debut in 2017, her working status did not change much from the NXT. She mostly worked as the sidekick of Ruby Riott. Of course WWE tried to push her as a single star but somehow it was never working for the American Professional wrestler, in spite there were various efforts.

Finally, last year WWE was farm on their decision to push Morgan as a main event star, and it worked pretty well. She went on to win the WWE Money in the Bank ladder match, and on the same night she cashed it in to win the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. It was a really dream come true moment for her and her fans.

But unfortunately her push did not last long after dropping the title at Extreme Rules pay per view event. She kept on losing her matches to different wrestlers which made it quite clear that WWE has gave up on her push. But she is quite young, she can still be pushed to the main event, and since she is a home grown talent of WWE, chances are really high.

Liv Morgan who is the winner of the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match of 2022 recently spoke to where she looked back at her NXT days and revealed that possibly getting fired was the biggest fear she had during the time. She said;

“Not too far recently, but I remember there being points in NXT where I was like, ‘I’m getting fired. I am gonna lose my job tomorrow’ and really believing that and crying myself to sleep because I thought when I showed up to work the next day, I was gonna be fired and so I feel like in that moment in time — this was so long ago.

“This is like six years ago — I had so many regrets, even though nothing had happened yet but I was like, I wish I’d worked harder, I wish I utilized this more, I wish I wasn’t scared. So many I wishes, I wishes, I wishes and then I walked into work the next day where I swore on my life I was being fired. I prepared myself, like I was emotionally numb.

“But I feel like it just gave me so much perspective that’s never lost on me since that day. So I always try to make sure, like, even if I’m nervous or scared, I’m like, you don’t wanna look back and wish that you had just went for it so I always try to just use that motivation and just to go for it, go for whatever it is and not be scared. Even if I’m scared, I’ll fake it. I’ll fake it, I’m not scared but I’m terrified, about to pee myself.”
