Liv Morgan rose to the occasion at Money In The Bank Premium Live Event by winning the MITB ladder match. She then cashed it in on Ronda Rousey on the same night to become the Smackdown Women’s Champion. In order to prove her potential to be a great champion, she has since been defending her belt but there have been serious doubts over her strong babyface status.
The former Riott Squad member was able to retain her title against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam in a singles contest which is an incredible feat itself but that win came under controversial circumstances as she could possibly become the first champion to retain despite tapping out to the challenger. After that, she entered a feud with Shyna Baszler to set up her next title defense.
