Liv Morgan received the much-anticipated rematch against Becky Lynch at WWE Day 1 pay-per-view event. The match took place over the Raw Women’s Championship where the fans wanted to witness a new champion but that wasn’t the cause. After taking the champion to the limit, the challenger was ultimately upstaged by the champion.
As seen in the match, Liv Morgan hurt Becky Lynch’s arm by trapping it in the Steel Ring Steps in the same way Becky hurt her, a few weeks ago. The payback almost happened for her as she was inching close to the victory by applying a crossface submission. In the end, Liv went for her finisher on Becky from the second rope, but it was countered By Becky who hit the Man Handle Slam for the win.

Did WWE Day 1 Changes Affect Wrestlemania 38 Plans?
Liv Morgan is a popular babyface on Raw
Liv Morgan had worked hard to establish herself as one of the mainstays of the women’s division on Monday Night RAW. Over the past few months, she has been able to gain a lot of fan support which also makes her one of the most natural babyface superstars. Fresh faces are needed, anyways in the female roster of the WWE and hence this elevation of the former Riott Squad member is good while considering the future.
Over the course of the past few months, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan have been engaged in a feud over the Raw Women’s Championship, in what became an entertaining program. Morgan challenged for the RAW Women’s Championship on two occasions including a main-event match but on both occasions, the challenger remained unsuccessful.
Since Liv Morgan is a heavy favorite amongst the WWE Universe, many do believe that WWE might reserve the crowning moment for her at Wrestlemania 38. However, chances of seeing the same are very much low at this point.
