It’s not been a meteoric rise for Liv Morgan in the WWE. She’s rather been stuck in the process of becoming a top superstar for years who gave her all and everything before finally being able to call herself a champion in the WWE. This has been a dream come true for the young superstars as she reflected on the win following Money in the Bank.

Liv Morgan spoke with WWE.com for an interview following her shocking title win at the latest bygone premium live event. At a time when her Riott Squad buddies Ruby Soho and Sarah Logan and even Lana is away from her, she became extremely emotional while recounting the win.

“This is like, the feeling I’ve been searching for my whole entire life. This is all I’ve ever – oh my gosh – this is all I’ve ever wanted. This is all I’ve ever wanted since I was a little girl and I literally can’t believe I have it … It was amazing, it was everything. I did this for [the WWE fans],” Liv explained that the turmoil she has gone through all these years has finally reached the endgame.

“I did this for you guys. You guys believe in me so much, I wanted to give you something to believe in. We did it, we’re champions, we did it. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. Thank you.”

Liv Morgan thanked WWE Universe for supporting her in the journey

The active WWE Universe members on social media would definitely know how Liv Morgan has become a fan favorite in the recent past. Heading into Money in the Bank 2022 PLE, they’ve been campaigning for the MITB briefcase win for the former Riott Squad member. The newly become champion didn’t forget to express her gratitude while taking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport.

“I think they’ve just been on this journey with me for 8 years now. They’ve seen me go from a girl that maybe no one thought would amount to anything in this business, and I’ve worked my a$$ off to prove that I belong and they have been with me every single step,” Liv Morgan continued.

“They’ve seen every improvement, they’ve been through it all. They’ve grown with me and been on this journey since day one, so me succeeding feels like they’ve succeeded.”

As seen at Money in the Bank 2022 PLE this past Sunday, Liv Morgan overcame six other participants Becky Lynch, Asuka, Lacey Evans, Shotzi, Raquel Rodriguez, and Alexa Bliss to win the women’s Money in the Bank briefcase in the opening ladder match of the night.

After holding for barely two hours, she cashed in the championship contract for a WWE SmackDown Women’s Title match against the now ex-champion, Ronda Rousey, who was just over with her successful title defense against Natalya. Liv Morgan took advantage of Rousey’s hurt knee and pinned her with a roll-up to become the maiden title win of her WWE career.
