WWE SmackDown star Madcap Moss who is the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal of 2022 recently talked about his former kayfabe Tag Team Partner Happy Corbin and thanked him for teaching him during the early stage of his character.

Madcap Moss worked Riddick Moss during the early stage of his WWE career but he could not find enough success. Injuries had been a bar before his rise in WWE too. But he made his return with a new gimmick and this time he started to be known as Madcap Moss and he started working as the side kick of Happy Corbin.

Madcap Moss Thanks Happy Corbin For Helping Him In The Early Stage

During the feud between Happy Corbin and Drew McIntyre, Moss was terribly treated and it never looked like he could get out of this burial. But kudos to the excellent booking decisions of WWE that made Moss a mid card star. He won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal before WrestleMania 38 which was nothing but a huge achievement.

After WrestleMania 38, Corbin got jealous of the success of Moss, and he tried to humiliate him during an episode of Smackdown. But Moss did not forget to return the favour and the duo started a feud. Corbin did an excellent job to put over Moss and we hope to see him on the mid card title pictures soon.

Madcap Moss who is the winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal of 2022 recently spoke to Out of Character with Ryan Satin where he talked about his former kayfabe Tag Team Partner Happy Corbin and thanked him for teaching him during the early stage of his character. He said;

“He was in NXT when I first got there, and honestly, me and him were always really cool. We weren’t super close. But he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. I actually appreciated his take on the business. It was just a very businesslike approach.

“When he went up to the main roster, I really started to admire his work. I learned about what we did, and just the way he worked, the way he got the most out of everything that he did, the way he protected his finish, all of these things.”

“I was thoroughly entertained by the Broke Corbin stuff. I had no idea that they were thinking about putting me with him or anything like that. I was training at the Performance Center, kind of finishing up my rehab and they told me then what I was going to do.”

“Corbin and I had a bit of a friendship beforehand, but we weren’t super close. We had kind of admired each other’s work and what we could bring to the table from afar. I couldn’t imagine having a better person to help bring me along and kind of teach me in my early stages of this character.”
