One of the most discussed topics in the current products of wrestling is the promo airing on SmackDown. Starting from last week, WWE captured everyone’s interest in just a split second. They aired a very short vignette of a woman causing fans to wonder what’s going on. It seems a clue has been received on who the mystery woman could be.
The promo has a Superstar walking down in heels for a second or two. Her identity wasn’t revealed keeping the suspense high. Eva Marie was the first to respond to the vignette making the fans speculate about her WWE return. Fans were elated to think that the bombshell Diva could finally be returning.

Also, Chelsea Green tweeted out in response to fans thinking that it could be her behind that mystery promo on SmackDown while the tag of being a mystery member of Retribution also remains intact on her. Ringside News reports that Green isn’t the mystery woman on the blue brand. Additionally, it’s also nobody, new at all. Rather, an existing star is being repackaged.

The source has learned that word going around backstage in WWE is that Carmella is that mystery Superstar on SmackDown. While it’s smart not to jump into any conclusion at this point, if the plan gets executed then the former Money in the Bank will get a boost in her down-going career.
A writer with close knowledge of the situation claimed that nothing is for sure anymore. “It can always be a swerve, even to us behind the scenes” but the first impression suggested that the Princess of Staten Island could be returning on SmackDown and that vignette is for her.
Carmella hasn’t been on WWE television for months now. She was taken off TV since the coronavirus pandemic began. She was back for a one-off night at this year’s Money In The Bank ladder match in May and then went into a hiatus, once again. Now that WWE has entered the ThunderDome, some of the big stars returned and we can only assume that Carmella could be an addition to them.
Carmella has already stated on social media that she’s ready for an in-ring return. Also, Paul Heyman name-dropped her during a promo on SmackDown, hinting that he must haven’t done this by accident.
