Sonya Deville avoided a scary situation, as reported a few days ago. Her home was invaded by a stalker named Philip Thomas II. Apparently, this mad fan of her was stalking her online for years, sending DMs, and also had been plotting out his kidnapping plan for the past 8 months. He tried to give his plan a reality, earlier this month by invading her house.
When police arrived, Thomas admitted that his plan was to hold Sonya Deville hostage. DMs from Thomas also disclosed that he was also threatening Mandy Rose as well. While he’s under police custody, troubles haven’t fully left the ex-WWE Superstar.

Sonya Deville Receives More Death Threats; WWE Return Plan Revealed
Heel By Nature reports that Sonya Deville was granted a motion to present evidence that included her personal information such as her address. Court documents also disclosed that Deville’s ex-girlfriend Ariana Johnson also received threatening messages from Thomas as well. she and Deville have both been qualified as “victim or witness at risk of harm” in this ongoing case.
The court granted her request to have those records sealed. It was revealed that Sonya Deville received additional threats from unknown persons stating, “I’ll finish the job that Phillip started” or “My knife is sharper than Philip’s.”
This kind of disturbance in her life could be the reason who Sonya Deville is now off WWE television after being defeated in a loser leaves WWE match at SummerSlam by Mandy Rose. She has also been landed on the alumni page, as WWE wants fans to believe that she’s gone. The original Hair vs Hair stipulation of that match may have Deville’s head shaved, but her attorney suggested against that and WWE pulled out that gimmick match.

In reality, Sonya Deville hasn’t quitted WWE, at all. Rather, it’s just time-off, for now as she may resurface in a new avatar when the time would be right. It seems her loss will be leading her to a return with a new name and gimmick, as she doesn’t want to be called “Sonya Deville” anymore. When asked what’s next for her in a backstage interview after SummerSlam, she replied,
“Do not call me that ever again!”
