Away from the WWE, Mandy Rose remains the epitome of beauty and talent who has her star power to captivate people. After seamless transitioning from the wrestling ring to outside content ventures such as FanTime, OnlyFans, or podcasting, she continued to flourish for the time being.

With these, Mandy Rose continues to be successful and make headlines and it’s definitely not for her wrestling skills. While the doubters considered her exit from the WWE to mark her downfall, she proved all of them wrong by working hard outside the wrestling ring. Besides, during her podcast time, she keeps on revealing interesting scoops from her time in the WWE.

Mandy Rose proved her dominance during her NXT tenure for almost the entire NXT 2.0 era. But before that reports affirmed that she was going to win a major championship gold on the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania in 2019.

In a recent edition of the Power and Play podcast, Mandy Rose addressed the rumors that claimed that she was about to dethrone then-SmackDown Women’s champion Asuka on the road to Wrestlemania or at the Show of Shows, itself. A not-so-precise answer was received from her side,

“There was a situation for that WrestleMania 35 where I did have the opportunity to face possibly Asuka for the championship and maybe win it … it’s all a maybe.”

At that point, Mandy Rose and her tag team partner were involved in a storyline with Asuka. WWE suddenly dropped that angle and headed in a different direction by putting the title on Charlotte Flair to make the first-ever Women’s WrestleMania main event that’s a ‘Winner Take All’ bout also featuring RAW Women’s champion Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch.

“Then they had the main event of Ronda vs. Charlotte vs. Becky so plans changed it is what it is you know it’s what are you going to do, maybe that an opportunity, no one really came up to me and say like ‘hey you are going to face Asuka and you are going to win the championship,” Mandy Rose added.

Eventually, the former Golden Goddess had to wait for more than two years since that timespan to win her first gold in the WWE. Mandy Rose was sent to NXT back in 2021 to achieve massive success as she became the third-longest NXT Women’s Champion of all time. After she was released, she also witnessed immense success with the content-sharing business.
