Since the get-go of her WWE career, Ronda Rousey has been considered to be a marquee attraction in the company. The tactic worked well for the WWE during her first run with the company as she showed a commendable transition from the MMA industry to professional wrestling in no time.

But once that run during the 2018-19 season was over, Ronda Rousey grew bitter about the product and now has no intention of coming back. Several reasons grew sour taste about WWE with Vince McMahon and his previous regime being one of those. Additionally, there was one more incident where she faced inappropriate behavior from a male colleague.

Talking to Brian Entin of NewsNation to promote her new book “Our Fight,” Ronda Rousey remembered a time in WWE when she was waiting to speak to Triple H in the writers’ room. Someone walked past her and grabbed the string of her sweatpants before walking away. She gave more details on the incident before revealing that the person was NXT wrestler Drew Gulak.

Ronda Rousey wasn’t happy with Drew Gulak’s backstage behavior

“I was standing there and this guy I was barely an acquaintance with grabs the string of my sweatpants as I’m walking by…and nobody reacts as if this is abnormal, and he’s going down the hall and I’m like ‘what the f*ck is that? Why are you grabbing the string of my sweatpants?” Ronda Rousey questioned.

“If my husband was standing there next to me, would you feel comfortable walking up to me and grabbing the string of my sweatpants?’ All the guys around me were like, this is part of the day.”

Ronda Rousey Cites Motherhood For Unsustainable WWE Career

Ronda Rousey later confronted Gulak about his actions and she was further met with a don’t-care attitude. This led to the former WWE Women’s Champion to send a stern warning to him regarding his future behavior with female athletes in the locker room.

Down the road, Ronda Rousey and Gulak once worked on WWE TV where the latter was tapped out on the April 22, 2022 episode of SmackDown with the lethal armbar submission. There’s no update on whether this segment was set up on television for this particular bitter experience that she had in the WWE locker room.
