A couple of superstars from the WWE female roster was taken out of action due to legit injuries and Mandy Rose was one of them. Chelsea Green was also one of them who broke her wrist after drop-kicked off the apron by Liv Morgan during her big Smackdown debut. As for Rose, she was injured when Nia Jax tossed her out of the ring during a tag team match on RAW. The bad news was that both the inured superstars missed Survivor Series 2020 PPV.
As of this writing, no official update from WWE’s part was provided by WWE regarding Mandy Rose, but it was bad enough to keep her out of the bygone PPV. Now The Golden Goddess has provided an update, herself on the injury. She is working hard to get mobility back in her left shoulder.

Plus, she also thanked the kinesiology tape that she’s currently using. It is apparently helping her shoulder to get back in shape, as per the provided caption,
“Light weights and mobility day… Thanks to @blacktopplus for the #kinesiologytape to help heal my shoulder!”
Nia Jax has an illustrious history to injure her co-workers while working in a match. Mandy Rose was just added to the list shortly before Survivor Series. In a tag team match featuring Jax and Baszler vs Rose and Dana Brooke, Rose was thrown out of the ring by Jax. She landed hard shoulder-first, on the apron causing the injury.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Mandy Rose’s shoulder injury was legit. Following the real injury, WWE had to pull off a scripted injury, the very next week where Rose’s hands were stomped down against the steel ring steps by Jax. She just sold that injury while her shoulder was already bruised, and the blame had to be put on the botched spot by Jax and herself.
It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes for Mandy Rose to come back to action from this injury. Dana Brooke, her tag team partner, had also suffered a kayfabe injury at the hands of RESURRECTION of RETRIBUTION. Since Rose wasn’t capable of competing in the match, WWE didn’t want Brooke to be a part of Team Raw, as well. Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans were declared their replacements as the red brand became victorious over Team Smackdown.
