ToggleFormer two times WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Iyo Sky is set for a massive main event push in WWE according to reports. Sky is working in the main roster of WWE since the Summerslam PLE where she made her main roster debut. She became a familiar name in the NXT before joining the main roster.
Iyo Sky had been a huge favourite to win the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match of this year that is scheduled for Money in the Bank PLE on July 1. Various media sources are claiming that Sky would win this year’s women’s Money in the Bank ladder match and it would be the beginning of her main roster push.

Massive Face Turn Alert: WWE Star Poised for an Epic Change in Character and Championship Reign
It is also believed that Sky would turn babyface soon and would start a feud with her current ally Bayley who is a former three times WWE Women’s Champion. They already teased a feud between the duo ever since their defeat at WrestleMania 39. Sky is also believed to be cashing in the MITB on Asuka to win the Women’s title.
Recent reports from Sports Illustrated suggest that WWE has really big plans for the Japanese professional wrestler. Her main event push would start at Money in the Bank PLE after she wins in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. She would also turn babyface soon;

Iyo Sky To Receive Main Event In WWE
“Right now, all signs point to that champion as Iyo Sky, who—pound-for-pound—makes a convincing claim for best wrestler in the world. Sky’s work has thoroughly impressed Levesque for years, and the reaction she drew from the crowd at Backlash in Puerto Rico only added fuel to the fire for those advocating for her first run as a singles champion on the main roster.
“Turning Sky face and having her feud with Bayley has been discussed. Bayley’s work championing the roster around her—especially when she could have instead pushed for herself to have a title reign—should not go unnoticed.” Wrote Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated.

But a push over Bayley would not be a very big deal for her since Bayley has mostly been treated as a lower mid card who lost most of her recent matches. But a Women’s title win would definitely help her to establish herself as a top name of WWE in the near future.
