WWE Announced Second Match For Cain Velasquez At Mexico Live Event 1

We have not seen or heard from Cain Velasquez since Crown Jewel where he digested a massive loss to Brock Lesnar.

It was his first fight in a WWE ring that ended in a devastating manner as The Beast appeared to be in the fiercest mode.

The Kimura Lock forced the former UFC superstar to tap out in a match that lasted less than three minutes. This has put away Cain Velasquez off WWE TV, for good.

However, he is coming back to in-ring competition as WWE is having a tour in Mexico, later this month.

Following Survivor Series, the company will host a Super Show in the Latin America country that will mostly have the local superstars in the match card.

Cain Velasquez will team up with Humberto Carrillo to take on The O.C. (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson).

The former two-time UFC Heavyweight Champion was originally scheduled to team up with Rey Mysterio to face the team of Drew McIntyre & Andrade at this WWE Live Event in Mexico City on November 30.

But that match has now been called off as the Master of 619 will get a championship shot, instead.

As revealed by the current advertisement, Rey Mysterio is line up The Fiend for the Universal Championship in a Steel Cage match in the main event of this Live Event.

This is an indication that Mysterio is not going to win the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series.

Also, The Fiend will successfully retain the Universal title against Daniel Bryan. Fiend will also defend his title at WWE Starrcade against Braun Strowman inside a steel cage.

As for Cain Velasquez, there’s no update when he will resurface on TV. He was previously rumored to be out of action for sometimes due to his knee injuries.

However, WWE still enlisted him in the Mexico show’s match card. It means that the surgery plans may have been postponed. WWE could be having a storyline in-store for him, shortly when the Wrestlemania season picks up.
