Mia Yim Explains Why She Decided To Return To WWE
In 2018 she got her big break as she got to sign with the mighty WWE. For the first two years of her WWE career she worked in the NXT and she became quite famous during her time in the NXT. She was not treated as a main event star in the NXT but she got consistent booking so her time in the NXT really helped her career.
After joining the main roasted in 2020 she became a member of the newly founded stable Retribution where she had been renamed as Reckoning. But the stable was a failure and after the death of this stable WWE could not utilize her at all.

Ultimately she got released from WWE in November 2021. She started working on the Independent circuit once again after her release and she also signed a professional contract with Impact Wrestling after her WWE release.
Recently she made her return to WWE and she directly got involved in multiple big storylines. She became an official member of the OC faction and also got involved in a feud with Rhea Ripley. She also participated in the Women’s War Games match last year.
Mia Yim who has recently made her return to Impact Wrestling recently spoke to Nick Hausman from Wrestling Inc. where she talked about her decision to return to WWE and she also revealed her desire to wrestle in intergender matches. She said;

“Well, you just said it. He said, “It’s going to be okay. It’s going to be good.” And honestly, with my experience with Triple H and Stephanie before, and “NXT” — I trust him, I believe him, and I know he really does his best to listen to us, to make us feel seen and heard. So I had no doubt in my mind once he wanted me to come back, it was like, “Okay, I know I’m in good hands.”
“I love it. Intergender Wrestling has been a part of me for as long as I’ve… since I’ve started. I’ve been doing it for years. And even just the little stuff, it might not be what I used to do in the independents or in Impact, but just the little stuff, it just means so much to me that I get to go with the boys and hang with them.”
