Mia Yim / Reckoning To Make Her Return Soon

Former TNA knockouts Champion Mia Yim is under contract with WWE for 4 years. She started her WWE career as a participant in the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament. She participated in both tournaments but fail to win any. But with the booking she received from the tournaments, it seemed like WWE was planning something big for her.

She was promoted to NXT as she fought in the division for 2 years. She mostly played a babyface role at NXT and she was loved by the fans a lot.

In 2020, she was called upon the main roster as a part of the heel stable named Retribution. WWE changes her name to Reckoning. Retribution was very famous stable with Mustafa Ali leading the squad. Mia Yim’s role was really loved by the fans.

A lot of fans were saying that Retribution is a substitution of the famous stable from NXT Sanity. The gimmick of both Retribution and sanity was quite similar to each other. But nobody expected that Retribution would fail just like Sanity in the main roster.

From the way Retribution was getting booked earlier, it was quite clear that WWE had High Hopes for the stable.

But without any particular reason, WWE decided to kill the faction. After Retribution got destroyed. Mia Yim aka Reckoning was not seen around.

According to Ringside News, Reckoning was at the backstage of WWE SmackDown this week. She was scheduled to make her debut for WWE SmackDown this week. But reports state that her debut on SmackDown is “pushed to another week.”

Yim was tested positive for covid-19 back in January. And she did not appear in WWE since December. It is quite clear that she will come back in action very soon. We believe it is a very good decision to bring her WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
