A multi-time Women’s Champion and a veteran in the circuit, Mickie James plans to do something legendary in due course but she is still not suitable with the term Legends. Due to the recent drop in viewership of Monday Night RAW, WWE decided to change things up, big-time when 2021 begins in hopes of gaining back those viewerships.

They recently announced RAW Legends Night, which will take place on January 4, 2021 episode at the ThunderDome. It will feature several Legends and WWE Hall of Famers from RAW’s past including the two headliners Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. So far, over 20 names have been confirmed for the special edition and it includes WWE Superstar Mickie James.

Reason Seth Rollins WWE Smackdown Return Not Happening, This Week

Mickie James has achieved loads of accolades and moments throughout her WWE career. But she might be having a problem with the word legend. The Tennessee resident is still an active in-ring competitor meaning she’s just not willing to accept that Legendary label, just yet.

While speaking to her official website, Mickie James discussed the idea of getting addressed as a Legend. She doesn’t think that it’s suitable for her to accept such a role in WWE.

“Honestly I hadn’t even considered the label ‘Legend’ for myself. I feel like that’s a whole different level of respect that I have for people that I consider Legends. I’m grateful to be a part of the WWE family and I’m excited for Legends night. Call me legend, call me Superstar, call me whatever you want. Just know that I am far from done making history, and ready to get back to all the things that I do best – gettin’ the W’s.”

Mickie James Promises Something Big On WWE Raw Legends Night 2

Mickie James has not been seen on TV as she’s been out of action for the past few months after suffering a nose injury. She’s still recovering from it and there’s no update available on whether she’s coming back to action or not.

There’re no doubts about her veteran ability but since her comeback a few years ago, she’s greatly underutilized. We could only hope that 2021 would come up with some great news for her and she could hang up her boots in style.
