WWE Raw star and a former two times WWE Tag Team Champion Montez Ford who is a former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion recently talked about receiving praise from former WWE champion Big E and expressed his happiness about it. He said that he is really humbled for receiving praise from E.
Montez Ford started his WWE career as a tag team wrestler along with his Tag Team partner Angelo Dawkins. From the very first day of joining WWE back in 2016, the duo had been a sensational Tag Team. They had been extremely famous among the NXT fans and they had also been an NXT Tag Team Champion.
Montez Ford Expresses His Happiness For Receiving Praise From Big E
After joining the main roster in 2019, they continued their Tag Team run and they had been a 2 times Tag Team champion in WWE main roster. They held both RAW and Smackdown Tag Team Championship once each. But with Usos having both titles for a long time, their Tag Team is slowly getting stale like the rest of the tag teams in WWE.
There had been rumours of Montez Ford to receive a big singles push, however, it is not very much cleared when WWE would start it. His recent performance from the Elimination Chamber had been praised massively. It might be a hint of the start of his singles success in WWE.
Montez Ford who is a former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion recently spoke to Bleav in Pro Wrestling podcast where he talked about receiving praise from former WWE champion Big E and expressed his happiness about it. He said;
“It means everything, man. We all endure similar backgrounds, similar experiences. We’re all on the road 200-plus days out of the year. We’re all making the same or similar sacrifices, and to have your peers feel like it’s your time, it’s your time to get cooking and it’s deserving, it means a .
“Especially coming from someone that, I would say, one of the people I’ve looked up to and idolized, you know, before I even got into business — Big E. You know, being part of New Day and everything that they’ve done and paved the way and the road they showed for myself and a lot of other of my peers as well.
“Specifically myself, these guys have done so much for me and given me so many examples and motivation and inspiration to achieve and aspire to be more,” he added. “For them to say that they feel this way, these are their opinions about me. I guess that means I’m doing something right.
“It is very, very, very, very humbling, man because, we all put so much effort into this. To have someone like Big E, Gold-E is what I call him, to say some stuff like that, that’s not only inspiring and means a lot and very humbling, but it’s also very motivating for me to just continue going there this weekend and show the world what he feels and what I feel as well. So I really, really appreciate that and I thank God for him.”
