WWE apparently had big plans with Natalya and Lana before they were forced to go into a hiatus amid health scare. But these two are well-known social media pros who never stopped playing out the storyline via their Twitter or Instagram handles. They even mentioned themselves to be the future Women’s Tag Team Champions, as well.
Lana works hard while being a WWE Superstar or rather a wrestler and the factors include it. She is no less than a Diva going by her social media account but she never backed down from having some experience inside the ring as a wrestler. She might not get much chance to wrestle, but she has all the tools and veteran Natalya is impressed with those.
Alicia Atout recently spoke with Natalya where Lana arrived in the conversation. The former Women’s Champion praised the wrestling ability of the Ravishing Russian who also added that people don’t understand how good Lana is, especially in the ring.
Rusev’s wife might take some time to have those “sea legs.” But once that happens people will realize how great the blonde beauty really is inside the squared circle.
“And I feel like people don’t understand how good Lana actually is, especially in the ring. You’ve only seen a little bit of what she can do because she’s been a manager for so long. I truly think that once Lana gets her sea legs and people can actually see her compete in the ring, I actually feel like we’re gonna be tag team champions.
I feel like we can take on Sasha [Banks] and Bayley for the Women’s Tag Team Championships and I think Lana is, and I’m gonna stand by this. I think she’s one of the greatest, untapped female talents in WWE that you haven’t even seen that in-ring side of her.” (Quotes courtesy Post Wrestling)
As mentioned above, Lana and Natalya were paired on Raw, but the union came to an abrupt end as neither one of them was seen on television for weeks.
The company never revealed why they’re absent, but reports suggested that there are COVID-19 related reasons. Both their husbands got sick and WWE had to take these two away from tapings.
The gold thing is that both Natalya and Lana are doing okay. Neither of them has been tested positive for the coronavirus which means that it’s just a matter of time that they’d be back on TV, quickly.
In fact, one of the posts from Instagram suggested that they might have already attended the PC for future taping purposes.
