Speculations were rife about WWE eventually making their return to Saudi Arabia this Fall for another premium live event. During this week’s WWE Raw, it was officially announced by the commentators, Corey Graves, and his fellow announce team that it will happen in the form of the Crown Jewel event on November 5, 2022.
“BREAKING: Legends will rise once again at @WWE #CrownJewel on Saturday, November 5,” WWE’s Twitter page provided an update about the premium live event.
Starting from 2018, Crown Jewel has been an annual trip for WWE for 4 years except for 2020 when touring was off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, this year’s Saudi Arabia trip will mark the fourth event in the Crown Jewel chronology. No update was provided on the exact venue of the show but we expect more updates in due course. For now, we know that Riyadh will be the host city.
WWE NXT 2.0 Brand Touring Schedule Announced For 2022 Summer
WWE has been holding annual Saudi Arabia shows since “The Greatest Royal Rumble” back in 2018. Each year, they have been hosting two PLEs and this year would be no exception. Back in February, Elimination Chamber was hosted in the middle-east country.
Following Money in the Bank, Summerslam, and Clash at the Castle, Crown Jewel 2022 edition should be the fourth Stadium Show in the remaining PLE calendar of the WWE. Although the venue isn’t confirmed, every Saudi Arabia event took place in a stadium, thus far.
WWE TLC 2022 was reportedly planned for Saudi Arabia
As per the earlier reports from Andrew Zarian of F4Wonline.com, WWE TLC (Tables, Ladders, Chairs) 2022 edition was reportedly planned for the next international event from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. However, plans for the gimmick-based event have since been changed. The slot for a PLE in October is left blank and it remains to be seen whether TLC makes its return in that reserve.

* Sunday, September 4 – WWE Clash at the Castle from the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales
* October TBD – WWE TLC 2022 Premium Live Event (unconfirmed)
* November 5 – WWE Crown Jewel from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (venue yet to be confirmed)
* Saturday, November 26 – WWE Survivor Series from TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts
