Nikki Bella’s professional and personal life are more than just colorful. Due to this, she is helmed as one of the most popular Superstars of this generation while WWE awarded her with a reality TV series of her own. Plus, the elder Bella also took the initiative to share more undisclosed stories from her life in an autobiography.
Exactly one year ago, Nikki Bella opened up about her painful past in her memoir named Incomparable. The book she wrote alongside her twin sister, Brie stirred the Bella Army with the revelation that Nikki was raped not once but twice in the early life. No wonder why she always had trust issues with her male partners.
Nikki Bella mentioned in the memoir that her virginity was stolen from her when she was yet to be a teenager and didn’t even see a penis. While being in high school, two devastating incidents took place that shook her mental position to the core.

The 36-year-old WWE Superstar whose real name is Stephanie Garcia-Colace mentioned how her virginity was stolen from her by a guy she considered to be a friend in school.
“My virginity was stolen from me, without my consent. I was raped, by a guy I thought was a friend, while I was passed out at a party,” an excerpt from Incomparable revealed by Us Weekly about Nikki Bella’s experience.
She continued, “I’d had too many beers, and maybe some shots of hard alcohol, and I only woke up because my stomach hurt – I came to, and this guy was both on top of me and inside of me.
I pushed him off and ran out of the room – he followed me down the hall and asked me if this meant we were now boyfriend/girlfriend. I had never even seen a penis, yet I was no longer a virgin.”

Nikki Bella was raped within a gap of just a few months
As Nikki Bella was trying to recover from that mental trauma, the painful incident repeated just a few months later. This time a college-aged man took advantage of her after she agreed to drink some alcohol. She again passed out and after getting back to sense, she realized that she was once again raped.
“I had clearly been roofied – I was groggy, and I couldn’t see straight, but I could see four condom wrappers littered across the bathroom floor and realized that I had been raped.
I hit him in the face and ran from the bathroom – my friend was gone and the door was open. I took off into the night, sprinting across empty fields until I made it back to the hotel where we were staying with her mom.”
After the #MeToo movement began, Nikki Bella gained the courage to share her story after hiding these traumatizing experiences for so long time. Apparently, she believed that these would help her fans to come forward and share their own stories if they have any.
In May 2014, the former Divas Champion dropped another bombshell when she revealed on Total Divas that she had been married to her high school sweetheart at the age of just 20. The marriage lasted only for three years as this was admittedly a huge mistake by her.
Nikki Bella started dating John Cena in 2012 in a high-profile relationship in WWE. The couple became engaged on April 2, 2017, after their mixed tag-team match at WrestleMania 33. But on April 15, 2018, the couple called off the engagement and canceled their wedding, set to happen on May 5, 2018. Now, she’s with Russian dancer Artem Chigvintsev as the couple also welcomed their first baby named Matteo, last summer.
