Nikki Bella is always up to doing something since the business has got into her genes. Due to motherhood, she has been sitting at home for a long time and that situation needs to change. Being a very driven human being, she might just want to experience how to put things together from a backstage perspective to see how those stories play out, on WWE television.
Nikki Bella was recently a guest on the Pretty Big Deal Podcast where she expressed her interest in joining the WWE creative team. She mentioned how Daniel Bryan, her brother-in-law, is contributing on SmackDown as a part of the WWE creative team. Being a former full-time performer of the WWE, she has this advantage where she knows “what the people want” and how to get the best out of them.
“I mean, I would love — there’s times that — because Brie’s husband [Daniel Bryan] is a part of the creative team and works a lot with Vince McMahon on creative stuff and I’ve always thought in the back of my head like, ‘I would really like to do that for the women’ because I’ve lived it as a WWE Superstar but also, I’m a fan.
So it’s like, I feel like I know what the people want and then I know how to get the best out of each woman because I know them. So, it would be a lot of fun to be on creative.” (Quotes courtesy POST Wrestling)

Nikki Bella wanted to be a WWE backstage official
The Ultimate Warrior’s wife Dana Warrior is also a part of the WWE creative team who is successfully playing that role for quite a few years. Nikki Bella previously pitched a spot for her on the SmackDown General Manager’s post that was rejected. Now she has pitched another such idea and hopefully, WWE might just accept it, down the road.
In recent times, there have been some pretty big rumors about Brie and Nikki Bella returning to the WWE in action but that’s yet to be confirmed. If Nikki’s injured neck comes into play and doesn’t let her make the comeback then playing the role of backstage team member would be pretty decent for her.

During the podcast, Nikki Bella also gave major props to the SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. She called The Legit Boss of the WWE, a perfect WWE Superstar.
“I’ve always called it about Sasha Banks since the day she debuted and even right before she debuted. She’s just, to me, has it all of what you look at as a WWE superstar,” said Nikki. “She’s an incredible wrestler, she’s an entertaining superstar. It’s like the minute she hits that ramp and comes through the curtain it’s like, you’re just locked in on her.”
Despite some of the major rumors about return, Nikki Bella has not stepped foot inside a WWE ring for over a couple of years. The last match she was a part of was WWE Evolution pay-per-view main event where she came up short against Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship back in October 2018. Some of the fans consider her to be an entrant for the upcoming Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2020.
