WWE has always been famous for producing big names in the world of professional wrestling. Most of the biggest names of this business have arrived from WWE only. Throughout the history, most of the biggest names of this business have been produced by WWE.
From Buddy Rodgers to Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund to Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart to Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker to Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin to The Rock, Mick Foley to Kane, Kurt Angle to Brock Lesnar, John Cena to Randy Orton, CM Punk to Roman Reigns, the list is uncountable.

Why No Big Names Should Join WWE Right Now
WWE has a great history but what about the present and the future? They have created so many big names throughout the history, but what are they doing right now? How many big names have they created recently? You can definitely name Roman Reigns, but who else?
If you look closely, you will see WWE could not create any other big name apart from Roman Reigns in the last decade. You may argue using the names of Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Cody Rhodes, and Drew McIntyre. But do you really think anyone has a serious chance against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship right now? All of them are just upper mid cards. Cody Rhodes made his return at WrestleMania 38, a lot of fans are believing that he would dethrone Roman but there is a fat chance.

If anyone signs with WWE from outside, they can be an upper mid card at maximum. And if they face Roman Reigns they will ultimately lose. Whenever anyone goes one on one with Roman Reigns, it is quite obvious that Roman will win. So why would anyone sign with WWE just to become another job or an upper mid card at best?
WWE’s abnormal obsession with Roman Reigns is actually killing the promotion. All they are focused right now is to build Roman Reigns as the father of god. In every era of WWE, there had been top rival of the faces of that particular era. Sammartino had Larry Zbyszko, Hulk Hogan had Andre the Giant, Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart had Shawn Michaels, Austin had Rock, Cena had Orton and Punk. Only Roman is totally unconquerable.

As long as there were two different World Championships in WWE, there were hopes for the other main event stars of the promotion and also for the creative team to build new main event stars. But after they have merged to the two world championships, it has now become a personal property of Roman Reigns only. The others can feud for the mid card championship and have non title feuds.
WWE seriously needs to change their structure. There is no harm in building Roman Reigns as the face of the promotion, but the way they are building him is abnormally meaningless. They just cannot compare the 70s and 80s wrestling with today’s generation. As soon as most of the fans understand that WWE understand nothing but Roman Reigns and they cannot build more big names, they will lose more fans. They have to understand that WWE does not stand for Roman Reigns, we have Roman Reigns because of WWE.
