WWE star Odyssey Jones who has been very impressive in the NXT in recent times talked about the WWE Champion win of the former eight times WWE Tag Team Champion Big E and expressed his excitement about it.
Big E is an active wrestler in WWE who is working in the promotion for nearly a decade. He is a homegrown talent of WWE, something that WWE is preferring most right now. This is one of the biggest reasons why he is being built as a main event star right now.
Odyssey Jones Talks The WWE Title Win Of Big E
He did not win many singles championship before as he focused mostly on the tag team titles while he was working as a member of the New Day. As long as he was associated with New Day he could only focus on the tag team championships. Before the New Day was formed he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship once. Last year he moved away from his partner as a result of the draft and went to Smackdown, only then he could win another IC title.
He won the Money in the Bank ladder match recently and came back to RAW to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on the previous WWE Champion Bobby Lashley. He successfully cashed the contract in and won the championship. Now he has finally moved to RAW again and according to rumors WWE would be building him as the face of the promotion.
Odyssey Jones who has been very impressive in the NXT in the recent times spoke to After The Bell where he talked about the WWE Champion win of the former two times WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E and expressed his excitement about it. He said;
“I was excited. I wanted New Day to get back together. I’m hyped for him. I got to meet the dude and talk to him. He’s been great. He’s one of the people I talk to about movement-wise and what I’m working from a big standpoint.
“I haven’t had an hour sit down with him but small little tidbits here and there. I’m excited for the champ. I’m excited to see what he does with it. To me, it’s a long time coming, but everyone’s the best booker in their own head, right? I’m excited to see him have the title.
‘I’m excited to see what they do over there. Bobby [Lashley] can bounce back. I still enjoy watching it every week, and I’m just going to patiently wait and see what happens.”
