Plans around the WWE Champion, Brock Lesnar changed on multiple occasions in recent times before he had a successful defense at Survivor Series.
Vince McMahon wanted to make fans forget about the Hell In A Cell 2019 main event disaster.
Massive steel cage title match took place after Raw
So, he decided to move Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt to SmackDown to give a reboot to his gimmick and separate Seth Rollins from him.
Brock’s daughter’s big achievement in college
This forced Brock Lesnar to leave the SmackDown brand and move into Monday Night Raw in order to start a feud against Rey Mysterio. This resulted in a major feud’s cancellation on the blue brand.
According to The Dirty Sheets, Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship was nurtured for Royal Rumble 2020.
But that can’t happen anymore since one of them is on RAW whereas the other resides on SmackDown.
Bryan was put into a Universal Title feud with The Fiend on SmackDown in order to make up the canceled feud. The Fiend vs. The Miz rivalry was also scrapped due to this.
Now that Royal Rumble is the next big-four event waiting in the WWE calendar in 2020, the potential planning around the show is also out.
As carried by wwfoldschool.com, a future superstar Ricochet might end up facing the WWE Champion at the January show,
“RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman wants to feature former United States Champion Ricochet in a match with “The Beast” at a major PPV and with plans for Lesnar vs. Bryan being nixed, it looks like Ricochet could end up being the one to face Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2020.
Speaking of the Royal Rumble, Lesnar successfully defended the Universal Championship against Finn Balor (who is similar to Ricochet’s size and has a similar wrestling style as well) at Royal Rumble 2019.”
Brock Lesnar has just been over with a successful title defense at Survivor Series 2019 against Rey Mysterio.
He stopped the combined force of Rey and his son Dominick in a No Holds Barred match on this past Sunday night.
Now it looks like he won’t be having another title defense until Royal Rumble as WWE is yet to book him in a storyline for TLC PPV in December.
