If you went through some of our previous Raw analysis articles you would see we predicted a feud between Bayley and Sasha Banks. Yes, we predicted that WWE might be booking a feud between Bayley and Sasha Banks for WrestleMania where Sasha Banks might turn heel.

We are not going to have this feud heading towards WrestleMania since it is announced that WWE is organizing a Triple threat match for the Raw Women’s championship at WrestleMania including the champion Bayley, Charlotte Flair and of course Sasha Banks.

However, the actual plans for Fastlane’s Women’s championship match were something different according to PWmania. They reported; There was a late change made to the match as WWE had originally planned for Banks to accidently cost Bayley the Raw Women’s Championship. This would then lead to dissension between the two friends heading into WrestleMania.

So why are the plans are scrapped? Bayley vs. Sasha banks could have been an excellent match for WrestleMania. These two women presented some of the greatest women’s matches at NXT. Having them involved in a main roster feud heading towards WrestleMania would have been awesome!

We think the plan was scrapped because Charlotte would not have left with much championship options if Bayley and Sasha Banks went head to head WrestleMania. Nia Jax would have been the only legit challenger remained for Charlotte Flair and a heel vs. heel championship match can never be good for a stage like WrestleMania.

There were other good options for Charlotte at WrestleMania, like Paige. Yes, indeed Paige vs. Charlotte could have been an excellent match for the grandest stage of them all. But Paige is out with an injury for quite a long and apparently there is no talk of her return.

This is possibly the reason behind the cancelation of Bayley – Sasha Banks feud for WrestleMania. But we are sure that we would see this feud in future and we are hoping to have the best out of it.
