Over the past couple of months, Paige has been very much vocal about willing to resume her professional wrestling career. She has already dropped several hints which would indicate that she is prepping up for a miraculous comeback to the squared circle. Now one more tease has been added to her recent indications.
Last month, Paige tweeted “January” and “I’m not done yet. [flexed biceps]” via separate tweets shortly after discussing the possibility of her pro wrestling return on her Twitch stream. It was in that same stream, that the former Divas Champion mentioned how she wants her return to be a surprise, which is why she isn’t opening up about the exact timeframe of her comeback and rather teasing about it.
In the latest, Paige again hinted the same by posting a picture of her wrestling boots with the Divas Championship and a poster of the film Fighting With My Family in the background. This was a potential hint that she is lacing up her boots yet again, overcoming a devastating neck injury. However, at this point, all of these are simply speculations.
Magazine Confuses Paige With WWE Hall Of Famer Diamond Dallas Page

Paige is inspired by Daniel Bryan and Edge
During a backstage segment on a February episode of SmackDown, WWE Hall of Famer Edge said that Bryan returning to the ring in 2018 inspired him to do the same. Bryan then said that Edge, the winner of the 2021 Men’s Royal Rumble, should pick him as his opponent at WrestleMania 37 if Bryan was able to capture the Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber PPV event. Both these superstars overcame similar neck injuries to Paige and the duo obviously influenced her.
Following that TV segment, Paige retweeted that picture with “one day” and fingers crossed emoji on it. Beth Phoenix, the wife of Edge reacted to the tweet saying, “you deserve it.” There’s no update from WWE’s side whether they are interested to bring the youngest Divas Champion back on TV in a physical capacity.
Paige arrived on the main roster in April 2014 and won the Divas Championship, the night of her debut, becoming the NXT Women’s Champion and Divas Champion at the same time. Four years later, she retired at that same venue after suffering a career-ending neck injury during a house show.
