Free from obligations with the WWE, Paige is coming back to her native country for her first appearance outside the company in a decade. This comes after her original WWE deal has come to an end in early July and the company didn’t want to renew it despite the fact that she is one of the most popular female superstars of this generation.
Now Paige, going by her real name of Saraya is heading back home to the United Kingdom as she has been announced for her first appearance since leaving WWE on July 7th.
Paige Called Out By WWE NXT Superstar For Dream Match
World Association of Wrestling has announced that the former WWE Divas Champion will be “stepping back into a WAW ring for the first time in over a decade” at the promotion’s FrightmareIV event set for October 15th at the Norfolk Showgrounds in Norwich, England. There’s no update on whether it means that the returnee will be wrestling on the show.

Paige is moving forward after a decade-long WWE career
The last time Paige was in action on behalf of WAW was on November 20th, 2011 by the name of Brittani Knight as she teamed up with her mother Sweet Saraya to get a win over Allison Danger and Liberty. Afterward, she featured in a tryout and got recruited by the WWE in due course.
The former Paige has not been active since December of 2017 when she suffered a career-ending injury in a six-woman tag match during a WWE house show that took place in New York. She then officially announced her retirement in April of 2018.
Since then, the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion played the role of Smackdown General Manager but was removed from the position in December of 2018. She then managed the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane), as well as Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville and hence the speculation is that WAW promotion will utilize her in such a capacity.
Before leaving, Paige had spent about a decade with WWE, signing with the company as a developmental talent in 2011. In recent times, her neck condition has become better and she also wanted to make an in-ring come back to the WWE Universe, down the road. However, it’s probably not happening in the WWE given that Vince McMahon and Co decided to let her go.
