WWE personnel Paul Heyman recently spoke on Esquire Middle East where he revealed that there were a number of WWE superstars who were being pushed when Paul Heyman was Raw Executive Director in 2019. But the pushes have been cancelled for some reason. Here are some of the highlights of the interview that Paul Heyman gave;

“WWE is like any other business. It constantly redefines itself and constantly assesses its placement in the marketplace, and it’s constantly disrupting its own business model. The cream will rise to the top, as the saying goes. There are great talents. And the people that I chose are not people that—the people that I chose to promote, are not charity cases, they are extraordinarily talented men and women. And they will find the trajectory to the top.”

Paul Heyman Reveals Some WWE Talents Lost Their Pushes

Paul Heyman also believes these athletes who lost their pushes in time will earn even better pushes in the future. He also believes they are really top class talents who are bound to be top guys of any company;

“They will, because they’re top stars that are waiting to happen. Whether that path is as smooth as I tried to make it—and admittedly, I tried to put everybody on a fast track—or not, is a matter of conjecture. But these are extraordinarily talented people. And they will find their way to the top of the industry.”

Even though Paul Heyman did not reveal the names of those individuals but let us have some predictions on who they can be. One of them can be Bobby Roode. He was being pushed by WWE back then but with an overcrowded roster, he lost his push in the process. Right now he can see as a lower mid-card heel jobber.

Other names can definitely include Shinsuke Nakamura is one of them. He was having a tremendous push since his main roster debut. He won the Royal Rumble match in 2018 which could have made a huge impact for him and for the company too. He lost his opportunity to win the WWE championship at WrestleMania 34 against AJ Styles but it did not feel like he will lose his push. He turned heel and he was doing pretty well. But then something happened and WWE did not continue the push they decided for Shinsuke Nakamura. But there is no doubt that Nakamura is a world-class professional wrestler and he can receive a push anytime.
