Roman Reigns who was absent from WWE action, for months, will now make his in-ring return at Sunday’s WWE Payback 2020 pay-per-view in a huge match. He will be back in the championship picture, right away.
It was announced on last night’s RAW that Payback 2020 pay-per-view will feature a No Holds Barred Triple Threat for the WWE Universal Title. The new WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt will defend the belt against Reigns and Braun Strowman in the huge contest that could be the main event of the night.

It was also announced that Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, and The Fiend will be on Friday’s SmackDown to sign the contract for the Payback 2020 PPV. As reported yesterday, Reigns returned to WWE at the end of 2020 SummerSlam pay-per-view. He took out The Fiend and Strowman with Spears and chair shots right after Strowman dropped the title to The Fiend.

WWE has announced that Bobby Lashley will challenge WWE United States Champion Apollo Crews at Payback 2020 pay-per-view. Last night’s RAW featured Lashley vs. Crews in an Arm Wrestling Contest, officiated by WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry. Crews won the contest by stomping at the feet of Lashley. He also just retained his title over MVP at the bygone SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax have also been declared the new challengers for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WWE Payback 2020 pay-per-view. It was announced on RAW that Jax and Baszler will face Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley for their tag team titles on Sunday.
The match was made after Jax pulled Baszler out of the ring during tonight’s non-title match with Bayley. They stood together to stare the champs down. They later had had a backstage segment where Baszler said she would help Jax win the tag titles if Jax left her alone and stayed off her back. Jax wanted to be in the lead as the segment ended with Baszler slapping Jax and walking off.
