Peyton Royce was released from her WWE contract, earlier this year in an unfortunate incident. WWE made budget cuts on April 15 following Wrestlemania to release her and 9 other Superstars – Samoa Joe, Mickie James, Mojo Rawley, Chelsea Green, Tucker, Wesley Blake, Billie Kay, Kalisto, and Bo Dallas. Afterward, several more names like top superstars Braun Strowman and Lana have been released from WWE.
Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, combinedly known as The IIConics were touted to two of the brightest stars of the WWE female roster which is the reason why their WWE release shocked the world. The two have been in the company since 2015 who competed in all the three brands that WWE has to offer. They also won Women’s tag team titles at the grandest stage of Wrestlemania to achieve their greatest moment in the company.

“The difficult thing for us is, we still don’t have our green cards, so we’re not allowed to work until we get those or until we find sponsorship anywhere else. We’re so excited; we have all this freedom and so many ideas, but pump the brakes because we can’t do any of it. The podcast, we’re not making any money off of it. It’s purely to get our name out there and stay relevant.”
