For the past couple of weeks, Carmella has been going strong on SmackDown. First, she was privileged enough to head into the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match for this year without even qualifying for it. Now she got awarded with the title match itself, next week by the acting WWE Official for Friday Nights, as of late.

This seemingly handed her some confidence as she is now heading into the title match, hoping to become a new champion. Carmella has also boasted about the same via her social media handle following SmackDown. At the same time, she also plugged the stunning attire she was wearing, on SmackDown.

Since after returning on SmackDown late last year, Carmella is showcasing her extremely hot attires from TV via Twitter and Instagram profiles and last night was no exception. In a red hot outfit, she posed in front of the camera and some exclusive snaps were shared. The caption of those photos was simple as she promoted herself to become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Carmella received a sudden championship opportunity

As noted above, WWE has announced that SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair will defend her title during next Friday’s live SmackDown from the Toyota Center in Houston on a show that also marks WWE’s return to the road in touring. Carmella was fortunate enough to be the champion’s next opponent as the original opponent is dealing with an injury.

WWE noted before SmackDown that Sonya Deville would be announcing a “suitable replacement” for Bayley at Money in the Bank, but Deville ended up canceling the pay-per-view title match, instead. Rather, Carmella vs. Belair was announced with the note that Mella won’t be participating in the MITB Ladder Match.

Liv Morgan ended up interrupting Deville, accusing her of favoritism. Deville then announced that Morgan will replace Carmella in the Women’s Money In the Bank Ladder Match. Liv warned Mella saying that she hopes she wins the title next Friday so that Liv can cash it in on her to become a new champion. Only time will tell how things will be unfolding on SmackDown, next week.
