The couple got married at the beginning of this New Year in Las Vegas, Nevada. Several pictures have been released on both the superstars’ social media handles from the ceremony.

Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona are currently in Impact

The couple had announced their engagement in April of 2019, during the ongoing global pandemic. They have been dating since 2017 and originally had plans to get the marriage done, last year. But COVID-19 postponed those plans.

At present, both Chelsea Green and Cardona perform for Impact Wrestling. In an angle on the 12/17 episode, Cardona accidentally hit Green with a chair shot while aiming for Moose in a storyline angle. Cardona will eventually challenge for the Impact World Championship against Moose and W. Morrissey on the Hard to Kill PPV in a Triple Threat.

Both Cordona and Chelsea Green were released from their WWE contract amid the COVID-19 issues. During an appearance on Busted Open Radio she gave her reaction on the release from the WWE,

“I had no clue. My initial reaction was that I had no reaction and I just got down to business. I opened up my Pro Wrestling Tees store, then contacted Ring of Honor, NWA, and Impact and stuff. But then later on, slowly as time has gone by, it’s been one of – I just think it was a missed opportunity.”
