Rhea Ripley has been considered to be star power in the WWE from the get-go of her run in the company. The sweet teenager who was part of the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament tweaked her original gimmick to a big extent and worked hard to establish herself as one of the top Superstars in the WWE women’s division. Over the course of the past couple of years, she has ruled both the NXT and Raw Women’s roster.
It’s safe to say that Rhea Ripley has been one of the most dominant NXT Women’s Champions as well as RAW Women’s Champion. Given her young age, she certainly has seen a lot of success and if she manages to stay around the WWE then plenty more success will be waiting for her.
Currently, she’s away from in-ring competition and while doing so, the Australian Superstar is using a heart monitor as per the social media updates and it has taken the fans aback.
Last month, Rhea Ripley earned the right to challenge Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at Money In The Bank 2022 Premium Live Event by winning the Fatal-4-Way number-one contenders match on Raw. Two weeks later, she got pulled from the match as she wasn’t medically cleared to compete in the ring. WWE did never specify the actual happening or extent of her injury.
When a fan said on Instagram that Rhea Ripley doesn’t look injured, she provided the following updates,
“Brain/teeth. Can’t see a brain injury. Stop being incompetent and reaching at nothing.”
As per the video evidence from the contender’s match, the top superstar got hurt after her head bumped with her own knee while selling a DDT from Alexa Bliss. In an update to her health condition, The Nightmare has now revealed on her social media profile that she’s wearing a Heart Monitor now. This equipment is used to record and track any potential irregularities in the heart. It wasn’t mentioned whether she is also dealing with any kind of heart-related problems.

WWE pulled Rhea Ripley from Money in the Bank title match
After the removal of Rhea Ripley at Money In The Bank, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has reported that WWE knew about the superstar’s injury and also felt the need to withdraw her from the match, weeks ago. Therefore, the decision to let the people know wasn’t a hurried one and they always knew what was coming.
“WWE was aware of Rhea Ripley being out of her match well ahead of time, as far back as the previous week.”
Rhea Ripley previously joined Edge’s Judgment Day faction to get her heel status elevated. The faction then turned on Edge and now the faction has Ripley, Damian Priest, and the current leader Finn Balor. The Raw roster member would’ve gone into Money In The Bank with the numbers favoring her against the champion Bianca Belair. But the sudden injury got her out of action. The good thing is that she isn’t expected to be out of action for a long time. Hence, we can expect her to be back around this summer to resume the feud against Belair for Raw Women’s Championship.
