With all of the recent returns happening in the WWE in recent weeks, there have been speculations of Braun Strowman to be added to the fray. Proving those true, the popular superstar did show up on Monday Night Raw and created a massacre in a big way. Some of the critics may have not liked the random booking of the comeback but he sure did make an impact.
The New Day, Los Lotharios, Alpha Academy, and The Street Profits were competing in a Fatal-4-Way match to determine the number one contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles held by The Usos. The match was interrupted by Braun Strowman’s surreal music as the almost seven-footer entered the ring and took out everyone in the sight.

Braun Strowman firstly targeted American Alpha and Los Lotharios. The Security team then tried to stop him, but he took out several guards to stay on the path of destruction. He ran around the ring and sent Otis through the barricade and then put Angelo Dawkins through the announce table with his pendant move running powerslam.

Braun Strowman is likely to be a SmackDown roster member
The Monster Among Men then got in the ring and posed to get some more cheers from the crowd. During the commercial break, footage of Braun Strowman being escorted to the back was shown but he didn’t want to leave on his own. He punished Angel Garza and Chad Gable some more by throwing them back into the ring. Strowman then Gable with the running powerslam. Afterward, it was announced that he will be there on SmackDown.
PWInsider then provided an update by reporting that Braun Strowman will be a regular feature on the SmackDown brand, moving forward. Hence, this appearance on Raw was a one-off occasion. The source also noted that the current plans call for the former Universal Champion to work as a babyface on the blue brand. We’ll have to wait till Friday to get more updates on the situation.
Braun Strowman was originally released in June of 2021 due to the COVID-19-related budget cuts when Vince McMahon was still in charge. He last competed in a WWE ring when he faced Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash in May of 2021. His returning match is yet to be announced.
