WWE Royal Rumble is one of the most anticipated events of the Year. Some fans even believe that it is more popular than WrestleMania. This year WWE organized this paper view event once again and just like the recent years there were two Rumble matches, one for men and the other one for women. Let us talk about the good and the bad sides of the two Rumble matches.
Let us start with the women’s Royal Rumble match first. It felt more like a filler but there was definitely fun moments and history making movements are well. The best part of the match was Ronda Rousey of course, who dominated the match and won it of course. The surprise entrances were fun to watch as well, but most of them were not given enough chance to shine.

Pros And Cons From Men’s And Women’s Royal Rumble Matches
The entrance of Ivory was really fun. She returned in her Right to Censor appearance and her performance was quite fun. Mickie James making her entrance under her Impact Wrestling theme was a great thing as well. The storyline build up between Naomi and Sonya Deville was excellent as well.
The worst thing about this match in our opinion has to be Charlotte Flair killing the momentum of Rhea Ripley once again. This is just unacceptable. Liv Morgan getting eliminated by Nikki Bella is another joke. Nikki is not your future WWE, but Liv is. There was absolutely no reason to give the Bella Twins such a huge push during this match. Another terrible thing about the payment Royal Rumble match was the early elimination of Sasha Banks.

Now let us talk about the men’s Royal Rumble match. As always we would start with the pros of the match. Honestly it is quite difficult to find out multiple good things about the match. The run of Austin Theory was quite cool. Omos’ dominant run was quite good as well. Brock Lesnar winning the Rumble was quite predictable but it was needed to build up the storyline between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
The problem lies elsewhere, the WWE Brock Lesnar won the match was just unacceptable. He just entered the ring, easily eliminated the rest five wrestlers. He not only buried the remaining wrestlers but the whole men’s Royal Rumble match of this year. The whole build up for the match became completely irrelevant by the way Lesnar won the match.

There are some other bad things about the men’s Rumble match as well. The booking of AJ Styles in the first half was quite well, but he got eliminated by Madcap Moss and that is also quite early. Are you serious? He should have survived till the final six at least. Kofi Kingston’s botched elimination was a big setback as well. He could last long till the end.
Bad Bunny making the final five and Shane McMahon making the final three is another joke about this Rumble match. Nakamura getting eliminated so early was a terrible thing as well, he just won the Rumble match 4 years ago and he became a jobber is just unacceptable. Overall it was a terrible Royal Rumble match, arguably the worst ever Royal Rumble match in WWE history.
