WWE Queen’s Crown tournament began from the October 8 episode of SmackDown that went down from the SAP Center in San Jose, California. A couple of matches went down to determine two of the semi-finalists and there’s been an internet uproar about WWE’s decision of those two chosen women who became the winners. The expected winners have been eliminated, instead.

Carmella vs. Liv Morgan was one of those first-round matches of the WWE Queen’s Crown tournament and it was reportedly planned to end, differently, according to Fightful Select. As per the source, ahead of the match, Liv Morgan was penciled in to win that first-round match instead of Carmella.

Fans unhappy over Queen’s Crown first-round match outcomes

This also comes as a result of the other first-round match of WWE Queen’s Crown 2021 on SmackDown. In this one, Zelina Vega defeated Toni Storm to advance to the second round. It was shocking that WWE buried the former NXT UK Women’s Champion through a loss at the hands of someone who’s not a critically-acclaimed performer.

There have been complaints about the Queen’s Crown matches being too short in length. One fan pointed out in a tweet, “Toni Storm vs Zelina lasted 2:14 Liv Morgan vs Carmella lasted 1:36 Roman’s entrance was longer than both women’s matches. Not even a little bit of respect with this Queen’s Crown tournament. Absolutely unacceptable. #SmackDown”
