Professional wrestling legend and former WWE star Matt Hardy who is a former 11 times Tag Team champion in WWE recently talked about the former 14 times WWE World Champion Randy Orton and praised him. He said that Orton is f**** awesome.
Randy Orton had been working on the main roster of WWE since 2002 after working on the Ohio Valley Wrestling which was the development Territory of WWE back in the time. From the very first day of his WWE career he had been pretty impressive and everybody knew he was destined for something very big.
Matt Hardy Praises Randy Orton, Calls Him Awesome
He won his first World Championship back in 2004 and became the youngest WWE World Champion in the history. He was a member of the Evolution stable which is considered to be one of the best stables in WWE history. His main event run begin after he won the World Championship at SummerSlam 2004 and slowly he became one of the biggest stars of the promotion.
Right now he is holding the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship along with Riddle. He had gone through a total of 14 World Championship which is a record. It is the second highest title reign along with Triple H who had the same number of World Championship reigns. They are only behind John Cena who had 16 World Championship reigns. Hopefully Randy Orton will break Cena’s record in the future.
Matt Hardy who is a former 11 times Tag Team champion in WWE recently spoke on his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast where he talked about the former 14 times WWE World Champion Randy Orton and praised him. He said that Orton is f**** awesome. He said;
“I think Randy Orton is fu**ing awesome. I love Randy’s work. I always enjoyed working with him. I think as a person, having known him for 20 years, he’s another person that I’m so proud of where he’s at in life with his family and kids. We have so much in common. The last couple years I was there, we became closer than we ever had because we shared those personal family lives together, and we were kind of in the same boat.
“Both of our wives are pretty intense, and they are good for us because they keep us both in check. I have nothing but positive things to say about Randy. I love Randy’s storytelling in the ring. I love the way he does his character. Randy was one of my biggest supporters when I left and went to AEW to do my stuff and get over on my own being one of the older guys that was never one of Vince’s top guys.
“Randy was one of my biggest supporters who would constantly text me. I think Randy is awesome. People who think Randy doesn’t do a lot, or works at a slower, more plodding pace or whatever, I don’t think they get the basic aspects of traditional pro wrestling. When it comes to traditional wrestling and traditional storytelling, there is no one better than Randy Orton.”
