Former 14 times WWE World champion Randy Orton is scheduled to face ‘The Fiend’ at WrestleMania 37. However, it is still not confirmed if this Fiend is Bray Wyatt or not. Questions have started to be raised after the Fiend did not disclose his face since Fastlane. This feud has finally got some talking points after these confusions arrived.

But Randy Orton has way better matches listed than all of his matches against Bray Wyatt. His long-running feuds with the likes of John Cena, The Undertaker, and Triple H are still considered to be classics.

Randy Orton Reveals His Greatest Match Ever

But what is Randy Orton’s favorite match in WWE till now? In his twenty-year-long WWE career, he has been involved in some of the greatest matches of all time. ‘The Viper’ revealed that his ‘Greatest Match Ever’ is his match against Edge last year at Backlash 2020.

But he also revealed he had huge pressure from WWE regarding this match. And right now, it is one of his personal favorites. Recently, Randy Orton appeared as a guest on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions where he discussed this match and some other things. Given below are highlights;

Says it was a stressful position to be in but he now considers the match one of his favorites:

What a stressful position to be in, but this is one of my favorite matches I’ve ever had. I’m very happy with this match. Not only because of the pandemic and it was a weird situation to be in, but I feel like you can never have ‘the greatest wrestling match ever,’ but given the shackles that we were put under — it was an uphill battle — we did everything we could to do our best and we had the NXT crowd too. To be able to feel that. Here’s these guys, much younger than me, they’re watching like, ‘this is how it’s done.’

How he now feels a sense of pride for it:

There was a sense of pride in that too. Not only were we out there wrestling and working with no crowd and with the piped-in noise and the little bells and whistles, but we had that NXT crowd. It was like class. Let’s show them how it’s supposed to be done. We took our time and we got everything out of it. It’s one of my favorite matches.

With Edge being on Smackdown and feuding for the WWE Universal championship right now, it is not very much possible that these two athletes will feud each other very soon. But we are looking for a potential reunion of the Rated RKO soon, which would be the best reunion in ages.
