We have seen in the past that Randy Orton could go to certain limits where no normal person would ever be allowed. Last night’s WWE Raw appeared to be presenting yet another such instance that had a main-event segment featuring two legends. Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix returned to the show to give a medical update on her husband Edge following the vicious attack from Orton.

WWE To Make Edge Vs. Randy Orton A Gimmick Match At Wrestlemania 36

Beth Phoenix came out to talk about her husband and WWE Hall of Famer Edge. But Randy Orton interrupted her segment on WWE Raw and blamed her for everything!

WWE Raw Results: March 2, 2020-Randy Orton RKOs Beth Phoenix, Big Title Change

He said Edge is his friend who has daughters and a wife to take care wife. So it was not the right decision to seeing him coming back to action, which could concuss his neck. So Beth should have stopped him, much earlier.

Randy Orton also claimed that he loved Edge and their daughters, like family, more than Beth Phoenix did. He had said that he had to keep Edge from continuing to wrestle so he could be there for their kids and for Beth Phoenix, at home. The verbal encounter continued until Beth slapped Orton. Orton then called her a b—h and received a kick into the guts. The Viper immediately struck with an RKO and left Beth laying in the ring.

Randy Orton made his exit as a shocked Barclays Center crowd looked on to what had just happened. WWE RAW went off the air following this as we saw WWE medics, officials, WWE Hall of Famer & Producer D-Von Dudley, Natalya, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio, Curt Hawkins, and Zack Ryder tending to Beth in the ring.

The storyline between Edge and Randy Orton is perhaps the most compact one on this year’s Wrestlemania. Involving Beth Phoenix into the angle must have added new dimensions to it. As of now, Edge is being advertised to appear on Monday’s RAW from Washington, DC. It looks like the confirmation for the Wrestlemania match between Orton vs. Edge would be confirmed, next week. It has also been rumored to be a No Holds Barred match.
