WWE SmackDown star and a formal WWE NXT Women’s champion Raquel Rodriguez who is also a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion recently talked about the upcoming War Games match at Survivor Series and expressed her desire to be a part of it. She also explained how Dakota Kai is a specialist of War Games.
War Games had been a signature match of WCW since 1987. WCW did not have enough signature matches like WWE. The only two matches that could fans remember of WCW where the War Games and World War 3. Of course War Games was the most popular. It is believed that Survivor Series was an answer of WWE to WCW’s War Games.
Raquel Rodriguez Expresses Her Desire To Be A Part Of War Games
The first ever WCW WarGames match took place back in 1987. The Road Warriors teamed up with Nikita Koloff, Dusty Rhodes and Paul Ellering to take on the Four Horsemen at the Great American Bash pay per view event. Since them the match kept on taking place in different shows. It was not exclusive for any pay per view event of WCW.
In year 2000, the last WarGames match of WCW took place in an episode of WCW Nitro. In 2017, War Games returned after 17 long years, this time holding the hands of Triple H in the NXT. WWE has announced that this years Survivor Series will organised at least two War Games matches. Recently privilege became the Head of Creative of WWE. It clearly shows his love for the War Games. We hope this year’s Survivor Series will be unforgettable.
Raquel Rodriguez who is also a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion recently spoke to the Under The Ring podcast where she talked about the upcoming War Games match at Survivor Series and expressed her desire to be a part of it. She also explained how Dakota Kai is a specialist of War Games. She said;
“It is my favorite. It is absolutely my favorite. I am a two-time WarGames champion, I just want to throw that out there because I feel like I have some good experience under my belt. I would love to be in this year’s WarGames. There is so much action in two rings that are next to each other and then the cage and the weapons that get involved and you don’t know who’s going to get called in first.” said Raquel Rodriguez.
“Speaking of Dakota Kai again, she is the absolute athlete of WarGames. She has literally started all three in a row and has gone until the very end. That girl just goes, and that’s what I really appreciate about Dakota, is that she is an absolute athlete.
“I’m excited about this year because if we get to be on opposing sides again, I can’t wait to stuff her in another trash can. Or if we are on the same side, who knows? I would definitely love to be a part of this year’s WarGames, 100%.”
