WWE SmackDown star and a formal WWE NXT Women’s champion Raquel Rodriguez who is also a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion recently said that WWE should introduce a mid card Championship in the women’s division of the promotion.
Throughout the time WWE used only one championship for the women’s division. But after the second brand split, WWE came up with two Women’s championships each for both SmackDown and RAW. Soon they introduced the women’s Tag Team championships. Women’s wrestling became more and more exciting with new championships.

Raquel Rodriguez Believes There Should Be A Mid Card Title In WWE Women’s Division
There had been a demand for a mid card Championship in the women’s division of WWE for a long time. AEW introduced a mid card Championship to their women’s division last year and it is going pretty well. With such a huge women’s roster, WWE should definitely consider introducing a mid card Women’s Championship title.
With Triple H now being in charge, it is definitely possible. Everybody knows the obsession of Triple H with more and more Championship, so we can definitely expect to see a mid card women’s titles soon. He has already brought a lot of factions which was pretty much missing from WWE in the recent years. We are expecting to see more changes in WWE soon.

Raquel Rodriguez who is also a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion recently spoke to NBC Sports Boston where she said that WWE should introduce a mid card Championship in the women’s division of the promotion. She said;
“100%. I think that would be something so great for the women’s division especially because we have so much diversity in the women’s division. We have women from all over the world, from all over the country, from different backgrounds and different ethnicities.

“I think having an Intercontinental Championship, having a North American championship for the women would be something. Just a huge leap forward for the Women’s Division in wrestling in general. I think that would be something so great for the women’s division especially because we have so much diversity in the women’s division.”
“And I personally do feel like that is something that is possible and is something that could possibly be happening in the near future so I’m looking forward to that and possibly you know making new history.”
