Renee Young has had her fair share of success in the professional wrestling business. She started with the company in 2012 as a backstage interviewer only to get elevated as a PPV kick-off panelist. Then WWE made her a permanent commentator on Raw before moving her to Smackdown as well as a host to WWE Backstage.
After leaving the WWE in 2020, Renee Young is enjoying her time as a free agent working where she launched her cookbook and also released her own podcast.

Renee Young has high praises for Stephanie McMahon
As we all know, Vince McMahon, stepped down as WWE Chairman and CEO after spending nearly four decades in the position amid an ongoing investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct with former employees.
Renee Young then also noted the new WWE Chairman & CEO Stephanie McMahon. The former Backstage host believes that Stephanie would be a smart choice in the position as she has the ability to be excelling in a particular role,
“As a Co-CEO, I think she’s amazing. She’s not only like one of the best performers in WWE but I think all the work she does behind the scenes [also stands out].”
After Vince McMahon’s retirement Stephanie McMahon and WWE President Nick Khan were made Co-CEOs. Stephanie’s husband and WWE Hall of Famer Triple H was named the Head of WWE Creative alongside his duties as the Head of Talent Relations.
Renee Young reacted positively on Twitter while noting the changes within the WWE over the past few weeks. In late 2018, she became an integral part of Women’s Evolution when WWE made her a full-time Commentator for the main roster on Monday Night Raw. She is the only woman in pro-wrestling history to have the honor of calling down the actions on Monday nights.
