Renee Young has been a matter of discussion ever since leaving the WWE, last month. She has filed his resignation papers, several weeks ago those were granted. After failed trying in the past, the Canadian journalist was finally able to move away from the company that got the popularity all over the world.
With that being said, the question is bound to be asked, what could be next for Renee Young. She is often touted to be the most successful female journalist in the world of professional wrestling. Hence, chances are pretty high that she would love to be around this industry. However, that may not be true.

Renee Young: Jon Moxley Provides Career Update On Ex-WWE Star
The general assumption is that Renee Young could jump ship to WWE’s rival brand, All Elite Wrestling promotion. Her husband Jon Moxley aka former WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose is the current Heavyweight Champion in the company. So she must be welcomed in that league. We wonder whether that is true or not.
Renee Young Reveals Reason Why She Opted To Leave WWE
Fresh off his recent successful title defense at All Out PPV event, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley appeared in the media scrum. Wrestling Inc asked whether there’s a possibility of seeing his wife, Renee Young, in his corner in this promotion now that she is no longer with WWE. In reply, Mox had something interesting to offer,
“I don’t think she wants to be anywhere near my corner. She doesn’t really like blood and s–t. The thing about that is she has an extensive non-compete clause about going to another wrestling company. It’s definitely not out of the realm of possibility for her, since she’s a jack of all trades, to maybe pop in and do something. Maybe a presenter, a host or something. She was backstage tonight and sitting in the crowd, so she’s around. If it wasn’t for that non-compete, she could have popped on camera tonight if she wanted to.”
It’s a fact that Renee Young hates it when her husband gets really nasty while competing in the hardcore wrestling matches. She also barely had knowledge about wrestling before entering the world of WWE as her aspiration was to be an actress. Now after getting rid of her WWE gig, it might be time for her to go back to that world where she can be part of some mainstream journalism. This aspect was reflected in Moxley’s recent words.
“Ultimately, her main goals and interests are outside of wrestling. I expect her to kind of have her toe dipped in because she’s so engrained in wrestling and so many wrestling fans follow her, so I expect her to have her toe dipped in some way. I want her to get that Katie Couric ‘Good Morning America’ gig so I can have a sugar momma.” (Quotes courtesy Wrestling Inc)
It was also informed that Renee Young is currently serving a clause of WWE’s release contract for 60 or 90 days. Once that period is over, there won’t be any legal bar for the pioneer journo to move forward in her career.
